About a year ago, I ordered a
product from Snapfish. A funny thing happened.
Recently, I have started receiving emails from
Snapfish. In these emails, Snapfish threatens to
delete my pictures from my account unless I
order something.
The first email that I
received was very friendly and cute. It even has
a cute picture of an upset baby. The email
reads....
"It's been a while since
you used Snapfish. According to the terms of the
service, you need to place an order at least
once a year to keep your account
active....
....we ask that you order
anything to reactivate your account for another
12 months. Please act by DEC 3, 2006, or your
online photos will be deleted."
Exactly 20 Days later, I
received a second notice. This one has a much
more serious tone and there are no cutsey
pictures. Some of the text reads...
"A few weeks ago, we sent
you an email about preserving your online photos
at Snapfish. TO AVOID DELETION, YOU MUST VISIT
SNAPFISH AND MAKE AN ONLINE PURCHASE WITHIN THE
NEXT 10 DAYS. ... IF YOU DO NOT RE-ACTIVATE YOUR
ACCOUNT BY DEC 3, 2006, YOUR ONLINE PHOTOS WILL
BE DELETED."
Thankfully, all of my photos
are protected online with Photomax. I feel proud
to be partnerned with a company that offers the
"Photomax
Iron-clad-no-kidding-preserved-forever
Guarantee". This guarantee states that
your photos will be kept in your account until
you remove them. Photomax makes me feel secure
and confident in the safety of my photos unlike
Snapfish which makes me feel threatned.
Thank You
